Terms of Service
1. Operator and scope
ContentMachine is operated by Julian Voh, an individual developer. Contact: julianwyco@gmail.com. These Terms govern use of the ContentMachine instance operated by Julian Voh and its product website. A separately self-hosted instance may have a different operator and additional terms; obtain that operator's information before providing data.
By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The current service is provided without a subscription charge. Any future paid offering will require separate pricing and terms before a charge is incurred.
2. What ContentMachine does
ContentMachine provides a browser workspace for reviewing recorded footage, finding potential highlights, editing clips, preparing captions and social post text, and initiating transfers to supported connected platforms. Features and integrations depend on the installation, account permissions and provider availability. The public product website does not provide access to a hosted editor or public registration.
Highlight ratings, facecam suggestions, transcripts, captions and suggested text may be inaccurate. Review your sources, cuts, captions and exported video before sharing. No score or tool guarantees audience reach, earnings, platform approval or a particular outcome.
3. Eligibility and account authority
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into these Terms. You must have authorization to use the service and each connected social account. Keep access to your installation and devices secure. Do not attempt to access another person's workspace, files, credentials or accounts.
4. Content ownership and permission
You retain your rights in your content. You grant the operator only the permission needed to store, process, transcribe, edit, back up and transfer the content as you direct when using the service. This permission does not authorize the operator to sell your content or use it in unrelated advertising.
You are responsible for having all necessary rights to record, edit, process and share the footage, voices, faces, gameplay, music and other material you supply or select. Obtain permissions where needed, including privacy, personality and publicity rights. A publicly viewable stream, an attribution or a link to its creator does not by itself establish permission to reuse it. Do not remove copyright notices or watermarks without authorization.
5. Connected platforms and uploads
Connections use official platform authorization. You choose which accounts to authorize and which destinations receive a video. Do not enter your social account password into ContentMachine. You may disconnect an account in the workspace and revoke access in the platform's connected-app settings.
The initial TikTok integration transfers a selected video to the authorized creator's TikTok inbox. The creator must open the inbox notification in TikTok, continue the editing flow and complete the post there. ContentMachine does not promise automatic public TikTok publication. Direct Post, if offered in a future approved version, requires the corresponding permissions, user controls and platform review.
Each platform's terms, privacy policy, community rules and technical limits also apply. A platform may refuse, delay, restrict or remove a video or revoke API access. An upload confirmation does not guarantee publication or continued availability. Removing a local video or disconnecting an account does not delete content already transferred to a platform; manage that content on the platform.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful content, infringement, harassment, impersonation, spam, misleading engagement, unauthorized account access, circumventing platform restrictions or compromising system security. Do not use the service to copy and republish arbitrary third-party content without permission. Do not upload sensitive personal information without a lawful basis and any required consent.
7. Storage, backups and deletion
Unsaved rolling recordings are temporary and are cleaned up according to the instance's buffer and storage settings. Saved clips and projects remain until deleted. Backups are separate versions; deleting a live file does not automatically erase earlier backup versions. The Privacy Policy explains retention, and the data deletion page explains how to request removal.
Keep your own copies of important originals and exports. Storage capacity, device failure, interrupted jobs or configuration changes may affect availability. The service does not promise an uninterrupted recording or a complete backup of every file.
8. Availability, restrictions and termination
The operator may maintain, change or discontinue features and may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention or platform requirements. Where practical, material changes or discontinuation will be communicated in advance. You can stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data.
9. Responsibility and mandatory rights
The service is provided with reasonable care, but without a promise that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer and data protection rights. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
Updated Terms will be published here with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights you already have. Questions, complaints and rights concerns can be sent to julianwyco@gmail.com.
